I am very saddened by the sudden death of my favorite Filipino film and television director Wenn Deramas earlier today. 😥 He will be forever remembered by everybody.

I was watching a movie directed by him around 11:00am today. Ace and I were talking about how great and brilliant he is. He never failed to make people laugh with all his film. Only him can make me watch the same movie for 10 times and will still make me laugh.
After watching the movie, I switched the television to the local noontime show, and I found out that he just passed away.:'(
Oh, how unpredictable life is. But that’s how it is.
My condolences to his family….
The next Film Festival would never be the same without you, Direk Wenn. I will miss you and thank you for the laughter.

For some reason, my WordPress Reader is not working. It’s not showing me any updates — it’s completely blank. 😦

It’s been like this since I logged in today. I opened my Reader around 1:00 pm PST. I have been refreshing the page for the nth time but it’s doing the same thing.
I can see updates of new posts from my email notifications but not from the WordPress Reader.
Am I the only one experiencing this today? If so, I think I need help. 😦

I’m having this DFLDAS (Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything Syndrome) today. You know, those lazy days? I’ve been facing my computer for hours now, reading this controversial issue of our National Punch Many Pacquiao on his stand about same-sex marriage. He is against it and it draws flak from the LGBT community around the world.
But no! I’m not here to tell you about my thought on that issue. I’m just sharing what I’m doing. (You know, just to have an opening statement.) Tehehe. 😀
Anyway, since I’m not very busy today, I will go ahead and answer the questions thrown to me on my yesterday’s post. I’m going to answer it here, so you could check out my lovely friends’ corner.

What challenges do you face when blogging?There are a lot, but the toughest one is getting “writer’s block”. You know, those times when our imaginary friends leave us. 🙂
What’s your favorite thing to do on your birthday?I go to church on my birthday. After that, is eating time.🙂 I love it!
Most random thing about you?My taste of food, I think. 🙂 It varies on my mood.

Do you like your job?Yes, I do. Teaching ESL is exciting. I’m currently teaching Koreans. I’m not only teaching them, I’m learning their culture at the same time.
Is it something you’re planning to do long-term? Though I love the ESL world, I’m still not sure of staying here forever. I think it’s not a practical choice.

It’s been a while since I last shared an OOTD post here. And I’m so glad to be back.
I feel great today because I just got a massage with TLC (tender loving care) from my mom this morning. So, I felt like dressing up for work.
My mom gave me this dressy sleeveless blouse for Valentines day. ❤ Oh, I felt a little guilty because I didn’t get her one for the occasion. 😦 I’m so bad.
Anyway, I hope to get her one though it’s late.
It’s a little bit cold in my place today so I have to pair it up with my favorite cardigan which your eyes are maybe sick of seeing. (Sorry) I have to keep myself warm but not too warm. 🙂

I hope Valentines day was not giving you a hang-over (of any sorts). 😀 Because, it did give me some. tehehe..
But this hang-over is so worth it. Got this from our canyoning activity last Saturday. Here’s a teaser.
Canyoning or Cayoneering as defined in my dictionary is the sport of exploring canyons by rafting, swimming, climbing, etc.
We just did that!!! And yeah! WE SURVIVED!!!
The Team
It was a five-hour trekking, cliff jumping, swimming, crawling, climbing. It was quite exhausting but it’s worth the adventure. Look at these happy faces.

We’re not able to bring our cellphones and cameras because we didn’t have a waterproof bag for them. So we rented a Go-Pro but it turned out that it was not really the original one, thus the photos are not really good. Plus, our guide who was also our photographer didn’t know how to take a great angle. But anyway, they said, “the best moments can never be captured”.

It’s soo cold and we’re freezing. But they said, “DO IT FOR THE GRAM!” and I say, “DO IT FO THE BLOG!” hahah

Our experience is worth this muscle pain I’m suffering right now. I can’t explain just how exactly I felt upon jumping on the 20ft waterfalls. I was like, “Gush, when will I land?” hahah
Though I did not jump on the 25ft and 30 ft falls, I am still proud of myself. It’s not easy to face my fear, they’re too big.

Me? We will be canyoning or canyoneering (whatever the term is)!!!!! Oh, I’m sooo excited and I can’t hide it. I know it will be one great adventure. And I am physically, emotionally, mentally ready. (I’m not obviously excited, right?)

I’m having this five days off because of the Korean Lunar New Year. 🙂 Actually they celebrate New Year on the same day as Chinese people do, only that, Koreans have this three-day celebration. It’s a big holiday in Korea so there are no online classes — which means looong weekend for me. 🙂
I’m not spending an out-of-town trip during my vacation, nor I’m visiting my hometown. I’m just staying in the apartment watching YouTube videos and do my coloring thing. Tomorrow’s the last day of my five-day off, I’m thinking of cleaning up the apartment and rearranging my stuffs. (As if, I have a lot. LOL)
And oh, by the way… (I almost forgot)… I achieved my “full red hair”. Oh, thanks to my all-time hairstylist slash boyfriend, Ace. He’s done a real good job! Look!
